SISSE starts at the shoulders. First, the back is knitted up to the end of the armhole, then the stitches for the front pieces are picked up from the shoulder stitches. Before joining the front pieces, stitches are cast on for the neckline. The front is also knitted in rows up to the armhole, then the lower body is continued in rounds.
MATERIAL
The sample piece shown is made with LUXX YARNS COZY FINGERING (400m per 100g, 437yd per 3.52oz), 100% Merino wool from South America.
Color Gradient
The original yarn package contains 5 colors, each 100g, totaling 2185 yds (2000 m). Sizes L and XL require an additional 50g of color 4 for the sleeve cuffs.
